A large scale installation based upon contrasting performances, by
Billie Holiday, of the two popular songs that make up the title of the
work. These sibling performances are dissected and analysed in order to
differentiate between them and isolate specific qualities. The exact
timings contined within each performance, down the the precise
enunciation of syllable and phrase, are translated into a sequence of
animated texts. These are then treated as the source information for a
piece of newly composed music.
