| Hori-zonal (2000) Digital video [still] |
The cliché-ridden resolution discernible in a transition between the two particularly voiced chords of Cmin and F# suggests complementarity. In this short video/sound work the exchange
between these sounds, synthesized and arranged using video editing software, is slowed down dramatically, heavily
extending the separating tonal intervals. This elongation reveals numerous hidden poly-chords more or less equally resolved, suggesting that depending on relative scale it is almost regain the initial separation. The visual element makes reference to science fiction, especially Tarkovsky's  Solaris.
